A need

I've had this want to write for quite some time but I feel as if I have so much to say that I'm not exactly sure what it is I need to say. Wonder if that's typical...seems it would be...seems it is to me, I know.

So, work is stressful but I actually opened today at 430am and didn't come out from behind the bar except for.my two breaks. I thoroughly enjoyed myself....I think I actually only saw two customers. I am glad I opened and not just so I could go to LaTasha's class.....she kicked my ass and I never did step either. I really.had fun and sweat my ass off....totally wanna do it again..hope I'm not too sore for dance class tomorrow.

To medicated or.not...that's the question.

I was hoping to keep this business focused but I just need to vent right now. First, I have a cat on my shoulder but sittin on my arm. That’d be Minxi....my oldest. All while I’m cooking dinner. Tasks, PTSD, and My Book

It truly is hard to sum up how my life has transpired over the last eight years. It's so hard to believe that the last blog I truly wrote on here was eight years ago. At least that is what I think I saw when I opened this blog up. I think about writing often. I always enjoyed writing but these days it's always a text or case note, progress note, or some form of paperwork or short hand writing. No one truly takes the time to write emails anymore. I remember when that was a thing. I also remember when it started taking up too much time in my day so the emails would get shorter and shorter. Thing is, now when I think about this, I'm reminded of one of my greatest mentors, Mary Pratt. A hell of a woman, who knew just how to call me on my shit in such a way that I was receptive even more than I thought I was. She was always an inspiration.
